Features: This book first introduces the development and techniques of Web applications using ASP, providing significant guidance for beginners, with a focus on ASP optimization knowledge. Then, it elaborates on the entire process of creating Web applications with ASP through multiple practical systems. The content includes a gym facility reservation system, a laboratory news system, an online mobile phone sales system, a movie rental system, and website solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. The book progresses layer by layer, starting with a simple system and gradually increasing in difficulty. The ASP optimization techniques in the book are mostly derived from technical documents by Microsoft engineers and summaries of experiences from developers at home and abroad, making them highly practical. Additionally, the book breaks the limitation of only discussing programming techniques without development approaches, permeating software engineering principles throughout. It aims to provide readers with software design concepts through the development of each system, offering both knowledge (fish) and skills (fishing). This book is suitable for technical personnel using ASP to develop Web applications and readers interested in related technologies. It is also highly suitable for readers with some basic ASP knowledge to learn and improve. The accompanying CD-ROM includes source code for each example, typical technical challenges, common questions and answers, highlights of corresponding examples, and video tutorials for beginners.
