Features: The chapters selected from the literary classics in this book are mostly divided into detailed annotations and brief annotations, separated by an asterisk (). The book strives to select renowned works with high ideological and artistic quality, as well as representative works of important authors, reflecting the basic development of literature in each historical period. Following the important authors and works, there are several research materials attached to help readers understand the basic knowledge related to literary classics, as well as various comments on the famous works by predecessors. The format and annotations of this book draw inspiration from the reference materials for the literary history of the Pre-Qin, Han, Wei-Jin, and Northern and Southern Dynasties compiled by our department, as well as the "Selected Poems of Chinese Literature Through the Ages" edited by Lin Geng and Feng Yuanjun. It also references published annotations and research compilations from recent years, while incorporating the new research achievements of teachers in our department and the current academic community.
