Features: The content of this book includes three parts: microeconomics, macroeconomics, and major contemporary schools of economics. The arrangement of the content is also basically based on this logic. Specifically, Chapters 1 to 6 introduce microeconomic theory, primarily addressing the questions of what, how much, how, and for whom to produce in economics. Chapters 7 to 12 introduce macroeconomic theory, focusing on analyzing aggregate economic relationships, macroeconomic fluctuations, and macroeconomic policies. Chapters 13 to 16 primarily introduce two contemporary schools of economics closely related to management and law. In terms of the way the content is presented, this book adopts a gradual relaxation of assumptions and a gradual approach toward reality. For example, Chapters 1 to 12 are largely based on the assumption of rational economic man, but starting from Chapter 13, this assumption is relaxed, and the complexity of human economic behavior is analyzed from the perspectives of institutions, behavior, and information. For another example, in Chapters 1 to 6, the decisions of economic agents are assumed to ignore the mutual influence of other agents' decisions, but in Chapter 16, this assumption is relaxed to analyze the decisions and equilibrium problems that arise when the behavior of different decision-making agents interacts.
