Features: This textbook made a new attempt in the writing process, changing the traditional model of analyzing management solely from the perspective of general management principles. In addition to analyzing the general principles of management, this textbook systematically introduces various professional management contents. Therefore, the content is divided into two parts: the upper part analyzes the general principles of management, with its basic content mainly organized according to the four major management functions—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—excluding only the introduction. The lower part covers professional management content, including strategic management, R&D management, learning organizations and knowledge management, marketing management, operations management, logistics management, quality management, human resource management, and financial management. This textbook is suitable for students of non-management majors. Considering the knowledge structure and characteristics of non-management students, as well as the limitations of the textbook's length, we strive to use simple and clear language to explain and analyze issues, making the content as easy to understand as possible. The goal is to enable students to grasp the basic theories, methods, and skills of management, as well as to cultivate their ability to identify and solve problems. At the same time, to help students master the latest management knowledge, we have also reflected the research findings of the latest management theories and methods in the textbook as much as possible using simplified language.
