Features: To adapt to the needs of the development of the construction industry after China's entry into the WTO, implement the spirit of the "Notice on the Implementation of the Vocational Qualification Certificate System for Production and Operation Personnel in the Construction Industry" issued by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, carry out vocational skill training for construction workers, and accelerate the overall quality improvement of the construction workforce, our press has organized the writing of the "Construction Vocational Skill Training Textbooks" based on the "National Vocational Standards" for the construction industry jointly reviewed by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, as well as the "Vocational Skill Standards" and "Vocational Skill Job Qualification Assessment Specifications" issued by the Ministry of Construction. On the basis of editing and publishing 12 civil engineering trades, our press has newly added 5 installation trades, mainly including: ventilation worker, pipe worker, installation hoisting worker, engineering installation fitter, and engineering electrical equipment installation and commissioning worker. This set of textbooks emphasizes the training requirements of operational skills, with theoretical knowledge sufficient for practical use, focusing on introducing new materials, new processes, new technologies, and new tools that have emerged in recent years. The content basically covers the knowledge and skill requirements for primary-level workers, intermediate-level workers, and advanced-level workers as specified in the "National Vocational Standards," "Vocational Skill Standards," and "Vocational Skill Job Qualification Assessment Specifications." It is a textbook for vocational skill training of production and operation personnel. This textbook is based on the 8 "National Vocational Standards" for ventilation workers and other trades jointly reviewed by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, as well as the "Vocational Skill Standards" and "Vocational Skill Job Qualification Assessment Specifications" issued by the Ministry of Construction, and is strictly compiled according to the requirements of "should know" and "should do" for primary-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level workers. The book provides a thorough and practical introduction to basic knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning, reading engineering drawings, layout and marking, common tools and machinery, and commonly used construction materials. It gives a comprehensive and detailed description of the production and installation of ducts, accessories, and components in ventilation and air conditioning engineering, as well as the installation processes and methods of ventilation and air conditioning equipment. The acceptance and evaluation of engineering quality are carried out in accordance with the new national standard for quality, and are integrated throughout the entire process of duct, accessory, and component production and installation in the book. Each part of the book is accompanied by illustrations, tables, and review questions.
