Over the past decade, practicing Buddhism has brought me great joy, but the most interesting aspect is applying Buddhist principles to real life. My years of experience in university management have deeply convinced me of the application of Buddhist teachings in modern management, which has been immensely beneficial to me and inspired me to write this book, The Heart Sutra and Modern Management, to share with everyone. The traditional Chinese edition of this book was published in July 2024 in Hong Kong, and now the simplified Chinese edition is being released in mainland China, hoping to help more management professionals understand the application of Buddhist culture in their professional fields.
This book attempts to integrate Buddhist principles into modern management, a topic that is undoubtedly challenging and easily overlooked. I sincerely hope this bold attempt can serve as a stepping stone for further exploration and better development in this field in the future. As for basic explanations of Buddhist teachings, readers can refer to my book, The Heart Sutra and Life Wisdom.
The greatest feature of this book is the thorough application of the concept of emptiness from the Heart Sutra in business management.
