Volume 1 is divided into four parts: Novels and Poems, Maye's Play Reviews, My Own World, and Appendices. The Novels and Poems section includes the novels and poems collected from Dong Leshan's works from different periods. The Maye Play Reviews section collects play reviews published by Dong Leshan under the pen name "Maye" in Shanghai in the 1940s, including two book reviews. The publication or writing dates are noted. My Own World includes various articles written by Dong Leshan related to his personal experiences, such as memoirs and tributes to others. Prefaces and postfaces that reflect his personal life are also included in this section. The Appendices include articles about Dong Leshan by others and transcripts of two memorial seminars.
Volume 2 is divided into three parts: Post-Translation Notes, The Sweet and Bitter of Translation, and Waste Ink After Translation.
