Features: The Henan Second Team of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, excavated 69 Tang Dynasty tombs in Xingyuan Village, Yanshi, Henan, from 1984 to 1993. Most of them were not looted and were well-preserved. Among them, 37 were dated tombs, which are sufficient to establish a framework for the chronological division of Tang Dynasty tombs in the Luoyang area. The tombs yielded a wealth of rich and exquisite artifacts, such as pottery figures, tri-colored glaze, porcelain, gold and silver wares, and bronze mirrors. Most of these artifacts were rare or previously unseen, and they hold artistic and aesthetic value, making them invaluable materials for the study of Tang Dynasty historical archaeology. Target Audience: Archaeologists, cultural relic researchers and workers, historians, students, and art enthusiasts.
