Features: The "Children's Collection of Pieces" is generally arranged in order of difficulty, but it is not absolutely the case that each subsequent piece is harder than the previous one. It is divided into two parts: "Children's Collection of Pieces" and "Youth Collection of Pieces." Schumann tried his best to make the technical level and musical progression correspond to each other. He placed great emphasis on adopting various forms and styles, changing between major and minor keys, using single-key and modulating techniques, as well as balancing the length of the pieces. In terms of handling tone quality and rhythm, they hold equal importance with the genre types and tones they carry.
