Features: Nowadays, children are trapped in a society flooded with pornography, which is truly concerning. The pornography industry distorts love and sex, causing significant harm to our physical and mental well-being, especially to children and teenagers. However, the problem is that we cannot stop them from being exposed to such content. The most urgent solution is proper sex education. Educating children about sex is not an easy task, but books like My Body Is Weird and My Body Is Precious have found a way.
First, for children, comics are the most suitable learning medium. They can naturally convey correct sex education through small stories. From then on, children will no longer feel strange about their bodies and will happily accept the changes of growing up toward maturity. While children’s bodies need protection from adults, if they cannot protect themselves, the world will not progress. Sex is a natural thing, but when distorted, it becomes dangerous. To counter the impact of pornography, a healthy and engaging sex education comic is essential.
