Features: Industrial clusters are an important way for the growth of the private economy. The division of labor and cooperation, as well as the competition-cooperation mechanisms within clusters, are key sources of competitiveness for private enterprises. This book provides a multi-angle analysis of the growth model of private enterprise clusters from aspects such as cluster competitive advantages, the mechanisms by which clusters promote industrial development, financing environments, and support systems. It further clarifies issues such as the growth paths, growth factors, operational mechanisms, and environmental constraints of industrial clusters, and proposes targeted measures for governments and intermediary organizations to promote the development of cluster-based private enterprises. Case studies are the foundation of this research. We selected eight representative cases of cluster-based private enterprise development, including low-voltage electrical appliances in Liuyi, lighters in Wenzhou, and socks in Datang, for in-depth analysis. Based on the case studies, we also focused on the relationship between clusters and the external environment. It can be said that the rich case reports and case study methods are the outstanding features of this research in terms of content and methodology.
