For each disease, after elaborating on its embryology, pathological anatomy, pathophysiology, pathological classification, clinical manifestations, and auxiliary examinations, the book focuses on describing the echocardiography examination of each disease in terms of diagnostic key points, echocardiographic findings, examination techniques, and clinical guidance value, supported by a wealth of images. Chapter 13 introduces the characteristics of fetal echocardiography. Chapters 14 and 15 mainly introduce the applications of echocardiography in other new fields, such as hemodynamic and functional measurements and interventional therapy.
