Features: The basic purpose of this book is to guide the use of colposcopy, identify various colposcopic images, and provide appropriate interpretations. The images should be clear, and the text should be concise and accurate. Over the past decade, colposcopy has undergone significant development, and many scholars both domestically and internationally have conducted valuable research on the morphology of precancerous lesions and invasive cervical cancer using colposcopy and histology. Therefore, each chapter of the new edition has been expanded with new content and rewritten. New chapters have been added, including the histological basis of colposcopy, colposcopic images during pregnancy, human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, and loop electrical excision procedure (LLETZ) using electronic colposcopy. The book also introduces the international colposcopic terminology and classification adopted at the 7th World Congress on Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (Rome, 1990). The interpretation of images is primarily based on the views of Kolstad, Stafl, Coppleson, Burghardt, and Dexues.
