Features: Time never follows our wishes to pause; the flow finally dissolves all meaning, making every love plan incomplete. Why, in the film, amidst events and characters imbued with love, do we constantly discover, reflecting different hues of love like illusions? Moreover, in the love we see, the submersion of life feels eerie. Is love truly so serious—like the lives in the film, where we always experience love, witness the past, remember stories, and perhaps later present them to entirely unrelated people. If, in the end, we come to understand that all love is but unfinished plans, could we then find comfort? This book consists of 18 film notes, discussing the images and characters of classic art films that address themes of love, imagination, survival and death, and emotional in three units: "Illusions," "Submersion," and "Emotional Rifts."
Centered around the eternal human theme of love, the book delves deeply into the changes in relationships and destinies of characters as they undergo temporal shifts, as well as the life possibilities that arise from these transformations. In written form, it recreates how the various opportunities related to eye-level encounters that the people in the images once faced gradually emerge and then fade away.
