Features: Since its publication in 1998, the Handbook of Synonyms and Antonyms for Primary School Students has been widely favored by young readers and has been reprinted multiple times. With the improvement of education standards and the updating of teaching materials, primary school students are encountering an increasingly rich vocabulary. To meet the needs of young readers, we have revised and supplemented this handbook. In this revision, while maintaining the original features of the handbook, we have added, deleted, and modified content. The additions are based on curriculum standards and integrate content from several current textbooks, adding over 700 new words that are synchronized with the latest teaching materials. The deletions involve removing words that are no longer required by the new curriculum standards. The modifications include revising example sentences for certain words to make them more concise and easier to understand. Additionally, the arrangement of entries has been adjusted, with words directly from primary school texts (new textbooks) listed as main entries. The revised Handbook of Synonyms and Antonyms for Primary School Students contains over 2,500 entries, including not only synonyms and antonyms but also near-synonymous idioms and antonymic idioms. The revised handbook closely aligns with the key vocabulary teaching points in primary school texts (new textbooks). It serves not only as an important reference tool for primary school students learning Chinese but also as a teaching resource for primary school teachers.
