Features: A person with a sense of wonder is a genius. Everyone is a genius when they are young, but geniuses become fewer as they grow older. However, a person's sense of wonder is not something that cannot be maintained for a long time; it can be eternal. All masters are those who keep their sense of wonder eternal. We have carefully selected the familiar scenes of the masters to present to everyone, allowing us to feel the tranquility of their life journey with respect for their lives. Since drawing comics is a hobby, the comics in this book are only a part of it, and the other parts involve illustrations, cover design, stage design, and early sketches, portraits, etc. The editing of this book is based on time and events: youth; the War of Resistance Against Japan; the period of opposing civil war, the early years of the founding of the country; the Northeast Reclamation Period; the period from the rehabilitation of "rightists" to the end of the Cultural Revolution; the 1980s and beyond. Since this book discusses a lifetime of painting, it inevitably includes some old works, but the 1950s and after 1998 are entirely new, i.e., unpublished. In the 1950s, there were fewer paintings, and all the drafts were lost. It was thanks to Comrade Li Hui that I was able to borrow the "New Observation" from the 1950s, which allowed me to rediscover some of them.
