Features: This work treats news as an object of discourse analysis, thereby combining the post-structuralist semiotic methodology with the study of journalism, providing a scientific methodology for deepening the research on journalism. This analysis actually operates on two levels: textual analysis and contextual analysis. The former describes the structure of news discourse, while the latter connects these structural descriptions with the cognitive processes of journalists, the process of how news discourse represents facts, and sociocultural factors, thereby appearing comprehensive and profound.
