Features: In 2004, the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education revised and promulgated the "Review and Examination Syllabus for Admissions to Various Adult Higher Education Institutions in China." The new syllabus specifies the examination subjects and review content for disciplines such as philosophy, literature, economics, education, management, law, science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine. It is compiled into 5 volumes and published by Higher Education Press. To meet the review and preparation needs of a broad range of candidates, we have organized experts and professors who have long been engaged in adult college entrance examination review tutoring, as well as former syllabus revision and examination question-setting researchers, to promptly revise a series of review and examination teaching materials to the syllabus. This series of teaching materials is based on the "Review and Examination Syllabus for Admissions to Various Adult Higher Education Institutions in China" newly promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2004, including 10 volumes: "Politics," "English," "Education Theory," "College Chinese," "Introduction to Art," "Advanced Mathematics (I)," "Advanced Mathematics (II)," "Civil Law," "Fundamentals of Ecology," and "Medical Comprehensive." This series of teaching materials integrates review content with examination content, not only helping candidates review and master solid foundational knowledge but also enabling them to grasp the key and difficult points of the exam, thereby improving their exam-taking skills. The arrangement of its content fully aligns with the knowledge system of the "syllabus," fully reflecting the knowledge and ability requirements of the "syllabus" while emphasizing relevance to the actual exam. It includes a large number of applied and ability-based practice questions with solution guidance and reference answers, allowing candidates to achieve "learning and practice integration" throughout the learning process, promptly verify their review effectiveness, and enhance their exam adaptability and confidence. The target readers of this book are a broad range of candidates with a junior college level in Western medicine preparing to take the adult education "Upgrade to Bachelor's Degree" exam. The book covers four parts: "Human Anatomy" and "Physiology" in basic medicine, and "Fundamentals of Internal Medicine" and "Fundamentals of Surgery" in clinical medicine. The purpose of writing this book is to closely align with the overall requirements of the "Medical Comprehensive Examination Syllabus," guiding candidates to master the basic theories, foundational knowledge, and basic skills of relevant disciplines to improve their ability to analyze and solve practical problems. To suit the characteristics of adult candidates and facilitate their understanding and mastery, the writing effort is made to highlight key and difficult points, keep the content concise, and ensure clear and accurate concepts. To help candidates improve their exam-taking skills, a large number of synchronous practice questions and reference answers are provided after each chapter, integrating review and exam content.
