Features: The Dali culture originated from the northern highlands of Qinghai, Gansu, and western Sichuan, dating back to ancient times. Archaeological excavations have proven that during the Neolithic Age, Dali's culture already exhibited characteristics of the northern regions, specifically Gansu and Qinghai. Before the Neolithic Age, there must have been even older cultures and indigenous peoples. However, due to the vast distance in time—far back to 5,000 to 6,000 years ago—changes were too significant, and migration was frequent, making it difficult to find materials from an even earlier period. Therefore, we can only infer that Dali culture has a close relationship with Qinghai and Gansu based on the archaeological findings from the ground.
