Author Introduction: Zhang Dianzhou is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Mathematics, East China Normal University. He was a core member of the National Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards Research Group. His expertise includes operator spectrum theory, the history of modern mathematics, and mathematics education research. From 1995 to 1998, he served as an executive committee member of the International Commission on Mathematics Education (ICMI). In 1999, he was elected as an academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences.
