The book includes over 340 illustrations. Accompanying it are CDs for students and teachers. The student CD includes presentations for each chapter, a question bank with solutions, English pronunciations of biochemical terms, and stories of famous individuals who have achieved significant accomplishments. The teacher CD includes in-depth knowledge, extended theories, and related new developments needed for teacher preparation. The connections between biochemistry theory and clinical medicine, as well as a timeline of the development of biochemistry, are also included.
