China Interior Design Annual: Special Issue Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Interior Design Branch of the China Society of Architectural Engineers

Features: The Interior Design Branch of the China Institute of Architecture is the only academic organization for interior design in China. The mission of the branch is to: safeguard the rights and interests of interior designers, explore the laws of interior design creation, understand the trends of global interior design development, and promote international and domestic academic exchanges. The branch has achieved remarkable success in interior design creation. Chinese interior design is gradually maturing, and Chinese presence is becoming increasingly active on the international stage of interior design. However, we must also acknowledge that there is a gap between our theoretical research and design creation in interior design, which is still relatively weak. To promote the theoretical research of Chinese interior design, the Executive Meeting of the Branch President decided that starting this year, we will evaluate the annual conference papers and award excellence to outstanding papers.
