Features: The research on higher vocational education and training program standards for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) engineering includes three components. Part 1 is professional construction, which mainly consists of two aspects. The first is the construction of a new curriculum system. In building the new curriculum system, two levels are considered: the basic objective and the development objective. The basic objective is primarily to cultivate students who can complete all tasks of the HVAC engineering professional job positions immediately after graduation. The development objective is to train applied talents with the qualifications of equipment engineers and supervision engineers. The second is the construction of a new practical training system, which also follows the basic objective and development objective approach. The second part is curriculum construction, which includes three aspects. The first is the development of new courses, mainly including courses such as "Heating System Commissioning and Operation," "Air Conditioning System Commissioning and Operation," and "Introduction to Engineering Supervision." The second is the integration of relevant courses, mainly including courses such as "Fundamentals of Thermodynamics," "Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering," and "Installation Engineering Budgeting and Construction Organization Management." The third is the updating of course content, mainly including courses such as "Building Electricity." The third part is the construction of teaching foundation work, including question bank construction, exercise bank construction, and practical training material bank construction.
