Features: This is a fashionable cultural illustrated reader, edited by SOHO Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., closely connected with contemporary urban life and architectural culture. Some articles are selected from the company's internal publication, SOHO Weekly, founded by SOHO Real Estate Developers. Over the past four years since its inception, SOHO Weekly has extended its reach beyond the boundaries of a real estate developer and an internal publication, caring deeply about urban culture, fashion culture, architectural culture, and even people's urban lifestyles. The intellectuals featured in it, with their distinctive writing styles, showcase their unique insights into public matters, offering substantial thoughts and opinions. Although there may be occasional themed writings, you will quickly find that the articles published in it are more interesting, more personal, and more grounded in urban realities than those in most similar publications. It allows readers to find a quiet moment in the bustling commercial society and listen to truly insightful voices. Published in June 2004 as a collection titled That Year, this book climbed the rankings of major bookstores and media outlets within less than a month—a surprising outcome for both the book market and the publisher. However, the fact it brought to light reflects readers' tastes. Chaos can be considered a continuation and significant expansion of That Year. It covers 15 topics and perspectives, all of which are matters of concern to modern people, and is illustrated with images, making it a well-balanced illustrated book that combines humanistic quality and literary refinement.
