Features: A name influences one's destiny. As the ancient saying goes, "Giving a thousand pieces of gold is not as good as teaching one a skill; teaching a child a skill is not as good as giving them a good name." Another saying goes, "It's not afraid of a wrong destiny, but afraid of a wrongly chosen name." The name inherits emotions, intentions, and aspirations, embodying a person's feelings, aura, and vision, conveying the mysteries of heaven and earth. May we all be blessed with a good name and good fortune throughout our lives.
What is the relationship between a name and a person? Can a good name truly bring good luck? What are the considerations and taboos when choosing a name? How can one choose a auspicious and fortunate name? Many people have once been concerned about and pondered these questions.
This book is a knowledge-based reading material that combines theory and practice. The first half is more systematic and introduces the relevant knowledge of names in a popular manner, including the standards of a good name, the concepts, principles, methods, and taboos of naming, as well as the ancient knowledge of using the Five Elements and the Bagua to seek a good name. It elucidates the significance and functions of names from both theoretical and practical perspectives, with a focus on the specific methods of choosing a good name.
The second half provides practical resources for naming, including an analysis of commonly used characters in names, matters to note when naming with common surnames, allusions and literary references of auspicious names, and naming methods for business names.
