This novel is dedicated to the young people who grew up in the rapidly changing 1990s, to the city youth who are full of hope and anticipation, restless yet lost. Amid the economic transformation of the ancient city, the gap between the older and younger generations has widened. Young people begin to question their past and cry out: Where is my future? Through depicting the experiences of diverse young people growing up in Xi'an and its unique cultural landscape, the novel ultimately reproduces a fading innocent era with a gentle touch, presenting a realistic portrayal of a time that is gradually slipping away.
