International Acupuncture Tutorial

Features: The outstanding features of this book are as follows:
First, the book primarily emphasizes the unity of theory and practice. Specifically, it requires that the theoretical section and the acupuncture treatment section must be mutually consistent and form an organic whole.
Second, the theoretical section focuses on refining, summarizing, and expressing traditional acupuncture theory—meridian theory—in modern language. The premise for expressing traditional theory in modern terms is a correct understanding and scientific analysis of the theory; while the premise for the modernization of acupuncture lies first and foremost in its modern language expression.
Third, the treatment section is closely aligned with clinical practice. First, the selection of diseases will be based on the systematic analysis of a large amount of domestic and international acupuncture clinical data as an important reference, reflecting the actual state of contemporary acupuncture clinical practice and highlighting the "contemporary nature" of this textbook. Second, through the compilation of this textbook, an attempt is made to summarize a set of diagnostic and treatment norms that are more in line with the intrinsic principles of acupuncture and moxibustion and clinical practice. In this regard, the authors have conducted extensive explorations.
Fourth, considering that the primary users of this textbook are foreign students, the language and expression style are designed to minimize the use of unique Chinese medicine terminology and habitual expressions, and to avoid citing classical texts as much as possible.
