Features: Guo Hua (1944-), native of Beijing, styled as "Master of the Void and Spirit Studio." Currently a senior researcher at the China Film Art Research Center and the China Film Archive, as well as a member of the China Film (China Film) and the China Taiwan-Hong Kong Film Research Association. Since 1979, he has published over 600,000 words of film history essays and other articles, some of which have had a significant impact in the overseas film industry. He is currently writing The History of Chinese Ethnic Minority Cinema.
