What is vagueness? It is related to the disalignment of the soul and the body, to the spiritual confusion and emotional chaos; it is the usual state of life for a lonely, adolescent soul, reflecting a certain emptiness of an era. Hu Chun, a failure in marriage, yearns for purity and despises decadence, yet never resists the chaos around him. On drunken days, he even immerses himself in it, engaging with his ex-wife, lovers, and even prostitutes! Then, in moments of clarity, he reflects seriously to achieve inner peace. One day, he suddenly realizes that his life has sunk into deep vagueness, chaotic and empty.
