Crown Prince Wei Zhen and the royal assassin Fei are both trapped in the conspiracy, and the kingdom faces a full-scale crisis. Until the very last moment, Fei discovers that the betrayer is right beside him. Crown Prince Wei Zhen goes to seek the ancient spirits, asking them to fulfill their long-standing promise to the wise king and return to the six principalities to help resolve the crisis of the Red Ship pirates' invasion. However, news comes that Wei Zhen has sacrificed, bringing the Deer Principality to the brink of despair. Is this all due to the Emperor, who covets the throne? Fei is entrusted by Wei Zhen to stay in the Deer Castle to protect the queen and maintain the link of the spirit technique to pass messages. Under the Emperor's consecutive schemes, the king dies, the queen disappears, and Fei is imprisoned and faces the death penalty. Only at this moment does he realize that the betrayer is right beside him.
