Features: 3DSMAX is a widely recognized powerful 3D computer design software in the field of computer-aided effect production. How to enable readers to quickly master the various application techniques of 3DSMAX within an effective time and apply them to various fields of practical work and life has always been the author's long-term pursuit. This book compiles the author's many years of teaching experience and computer book writing experience, breaking the traditional writing model of other computer books and starting from a practical perspective, with the principle of "example guidance," providing an in-depth and easy-to-understand explanation of 3DSMAX. The book is permeated with the thought model of "example-based learning" from start to finish. The book is organized into 7 lessons. In terms of content arrangement, it strives to be gradual and visually engaging, integrating techniques and design concepts, and explains various knowledge points and application techniques of 3DSMAX in an easy-to-understand language. The feature of this book lies in "example guidance," with almost every lesson using three levels of examples—general application examples, typical application examples, and comprehensive application examples—to guide operations and provide practical explanations of the knowledge. At the end of each lesson, post-lesson operation examples are designed to allow readers to master the knowledge points through hands-on practice. The book provides operation tips and process flowcharts for the examples, enabling readers to complete the operation examples using the knowledge they have learned, deepening their understanding. The specific content arrangement of the book is as follows:
Lesson 1: 3DSMAX Basic Operations and Applications. This lesson mainly explains basic knowledge and new features of 3DSMAX, including new features of 3DSMAX, interface introduction, view layout, and basic operations of scene files.
Lesson 2: Basic Effect Production—3D Modeling. This lesson focuses on 3D modeling knowledge, providing practical explanations of 3DSMAX 3D modeling through relevant examples and post-lesson operations, covering the creation, modification, and various application techniques of 3D models.
Lesson 3: Basic Effect Production—2D Modeling. This lesson focuses on 2D modeling and related knowledge, providing practical explanations of the application of 2D graphics in effect production, including the creation, modification, and various application techniques of 2D models.
Lesson 4: Basic Effect Production—Lighting and Materials. This lesson focuses on lighting and material knowledge in effect production, providing detailed explanations through specific examples.
Lesson 5: Post-Production of Effects—Visual Art and Environment Settings. This lesson provides practical explanations of post-production knowledge, including effect rendering and output, color adjustments, and the addition of accessories in post-production.
Lesson 6: Comprehensive Knowledge Application—Living Room Effect Production. This lesson takes living room effect production as an example, providing detailed explanations of interior effect production techniques and rendering output.
Lesson 7: Comprehensive Knowledge Application—High-Rise Residential Community Effect Production. This lesson takes high-rise residential community effect production as an example, providing detailed explanations of exterior high-rise effect production techniques and various techniques in post-production.
