Features: Supported by experts in foreign non in China, this book provides a theoretical summary of the long-term teaching practices in Vietnamese, Lao, Thai, and Khmer languages at Guangxi University for Nationalities, one of the national undergraduate training bases for foreign non talents in China. It focuses on introducing the open training model for foreign non talents, a systematic teaching philosophy and methodology characterized by openness. The open training model for foreign non talents introduced in this book is based on information theory, systems theory, and control theory, utilizing certain concepts from dissipative structure theory, and integrating linguistic, pedagogical, and psychological teaching models. This model emphasizes student-centered teaching and systematic teaching methods that transition from closed to open systems. Building on traditional teaching curricula, it places greater emphasis on the impact of linguistic and future professional environments on the cultivation of foreign language talents. Therefore, the structure of this model innovates the teaching time and space structure and the teaching effectiveness evaluation system while strengthening the teaching content and emphasizing the teaching of language norms. It forms a new type of foreign non talent training model that integrates systematic teaching philosophy, teaching content, teaching time and space, and teaching effectiveness prediction, making teaching and operational models mutually supportive.
