This textbook is designed for intermediate students of Chinese as a foreign language who have studied for one year (approximately 800 hours) in full-time schools. It is also suitable for foreigners who have mastered the primary vocabulary (2,399 words) outlined in the Outline for Teaching Chinese to Foreign Students in Higher Education (Long-term Advanced Program) and have achieved a Level 3 (Elementary C) in the Chinese Proficiency Test.
Adhering to the principles of scientificity, practicality, general applicability, and durability while enhancing knowledge and engagement, the textbook is developed based on the characteristics of intensive reading courses and the learning features of intermediate students.
The textbook is divided into 4 volumes, with 12 lessons per volume, totaling 48 lessons, intended for use over one academic year. Each lesson consists of 7 parts: Introduction, Vocabulary List, Text, Key Word Study, Grammar Notes, Exercises, and Supplementary Text. Typically, one lesson can be completed in 4-6 hours of study. This is the second volume of the textbook.
