Features: Hu Xueyan was the last "business god" in traditional Chinese society. He rose from an apprentice in a money exchange office and achieved success through a combination of business and government affairs. He turned commerce into a scholarly pursuit. From the perspective of commerce and making money, Hu Xueyan is the sage of business; from the perspective of how he conducted himself in life, Hu Xueyan is the greatest hero. Although times have changed, Hu Xueyan's business philosophy and methods of dealing with people still have a positive influence on later generations of entrepreneurs. The Hu School of Business remains worth studying and appreciating.
