Publish Date: 1998-12-01
Features: In recent years, pediatric clinical laboratory tests have made significant progress. Some tests have been abandoned, while others have been upgraded with new meanings. Additionally, many new tests have entered clinical practice. All these developments have contributed to the reasons for the reedition of "Clinical Laboratory Tests for Pediatric Diseases." After the revision, the book remains divided into two parts, totaling 46 chapters. The first part, "Experimental Tests for Common Pediatric Symptoms and Diseases," includes necessary supplements and modifications to the original content, along with the addition of topics such as immune dysfunction, neonatal diseases, nutritional diseases, and sexual development abnormalities. The second part, "Clinical Significance of Pediatric Laboratory Tests," has removed tests like turbidity tests in liver function examinations and has undergone varying degrees of、 and supplementation in other chapters. New additions include bone marrow tests, vitamin tests, T-cell and B-cell function tests, red blood cell immune function tests, urine electrolyte and enzyme tests, therapeutic drug concentration monitoring, HLA and chromosome tests. The revision of this book still adheres to the writing principles of the previous edition, aiming to diagnose and differentiate diseases from an experimental perspective. This innovative writing format is expected to continue benefiting clinical workers at different levels.
