Features: This volume includes five mid-length novels: "Chen Hong," "Nie Hai," "Xin Yu," "Jia Chou," and "Chen Lun De Tu Di." "Chen Hong" tells the legendary story of a courtesan and several strong-willed men. In this legendary tale, all the men are full of loyalty and righteousness. However, it is precisely this earth-shaking loyalty that ultimately pushes the female protagonist to the brink of despair. "Jia Chou," on the other hand, is the opposite. The female protagonist seeks revenge for her father and tirelessly searches for a man of courage, but in the end, she fails to find one. Thus, the woman in red is forced to take up arms. "Nie Hai" narrates an incestuous love story through a stock market speculation in early China.
