1. This dictionary includes all the characters from the textbook of the People's Education Press and the 2,522 characters that primary school students must master, as announced by the State Education Commission, as well as more than 2,400 commonly used and difficult-to-understand words from primary school Chinese textbooks.
2. The dictionary entries use large simplified characters, without including traditional or variant characters. The entries are arranged in pinyin order. A stroke index is provided at the end.

6. In the examples after the definitions, the body of the entry is replaced with "~". The examples primarily focus on words and word groups, with a small number of sentence examples. The examples are attached after the definitions, with example words separated by the "|" symbol.
7. Characters that are easily misread, misspelled, or misused are highlighted with (Discern).
8. To expand students' vocabulary, [Word Formation] is included after the examples to accommodate some commonly used words from primary school Chinese textbooks and extracurricular reading materials.
9. The dictionary selects some commonly used words from Chinese textbooks and includes them under relevant character entries, with the author providing definitions and example sentences.
