Features: To write this Cave of Death, I collected materials and original stories from every corner of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau over five years, basing the novel on my own firsthand adventures. This is a unique long set on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Before this, I had experienced the pursuit of white sharks in the Malacca Strait and personally participated in a battle to surround and capture criminals alongside a female police officer. I have published the novels Black Malacca Strait and Female Detective. Let’s call this Cave of Death the third installment of my "Chen Shi’s Adventures Trilogy"!
The author, with his personal experiences and unique reflections on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, tells the mysterious stories of people and the planet. Scientists, remnants of the Kuomintang army, poachers, bandits—their eyes all focus on one point: the renowned Chinese explorer Chen Shi. Following his original exploration of the Malacca Strait, he ventured alone into the glacier-covered mountain ranges above 5,800 meters and the 800-kilometer uninhabited area of Kekexili in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. He traversed through vast canyons and natural caves, emerging unscathed from a situation of disappearance, and successfully delivered this remarkable work of exploration.
