Features: To promote the implementation of the new curriculum, the Hangzhou Municipal Education Bureau, with foresight, commissioned Hangzhou Normal University to host the first science teacher training program for middle school core teachers in the province. The theme of this training program was determined as research on scientific inquiry teaching, which was also included in the Zhejiang Provincial Education Science Planning Research Project for 2004. After three stages of training— theoretical learning, practical discussion, and project research— participants significantly improved their understanding and practical skills in scientific inquiry teaching, achieving some preliminary results. This book is a compilation of the outstanding achievements of the participants. The publication of this book aims to showcase the results of this training program and contribute a small effort to advancing the implementation of science curricula in our country.
