Features: A highly controversial long humorous novel from 2004, a spicy mix of famous historical and modern figures and bizarre events. A novel version of "A Chinese Odyssey Part Two: Cinderella," a classic campus love story. The greatest tragedy in life is not meeting a red-haired confidante. Without a red sleeve to add fragrance while reciting poetry, there's no passion. Reading just until midnight, my eyelids have had their Nth close encounter. This indeed saves a lot of candle money, but who among scholars would willingly save money on stimulants like this! Several years later, inside the Nanhai Guanyin Temple, one day, Sun Wukong said to Sister Guanyin, "I'm tired of hanging in the heavens. I want to go to the mortal world to have some fun. Please ask Bodhisattva Guanyin for a pass."
Guanyin Bodhisattva showed concern, saying, "No, it's easy to get attached to the mortal world." Sun Wukong scoffed, "What's the harm in getting attached?" Guanyin Bodhisattva swept her dustpan, and a vivid scene appeared on the wall: In a field of flowers and grass, a beautiful woman was riding on a young man, whipping and kicking, as if riding a horse. Guanshiyin smiled faintly, "How tragic. This is your past life—the result of being attached to the mortal world." Sun Wukong took a long time to come to his senses, pointing at the young man in the scene and saying to Guanyin, "That guy looks like a dog!"
