As one of the authoritative journals in the field of management theory and practice, Harvard Business Review has always been committed to discovering and disseminating cutting-edge theories, perspectives, and methods in the field of business administration, helping managers continuously update their concepts, broaden their horizons, adapt to changes, and keep pace with the times. Harvard Business Review is widely regarded by readers as one of the "most authoritative, thought-provoking, valuable, and unique" journals in the international management field. The book "Bursting Leadership" is rich in content and lively, covering various aspects of leadership research, with many valuable insights to draw from. The book provides an excellent study of the formation and development of leadership among successful entrepreneurs, using vivid cases to demonstrate the diversity and richness of leadership formation and successful paths. We can gain some inspiration from it. If leadership is a manifestation of individual behavior, then personal experiences are a valuable part of the curriculum in leadership development. With this in mind, the editors of Harvard Business Review conducted in-depth interviews with leaders from the business world, academia, and the arts, asking them about the most impactful experiences they had in leadership, both positive and negative. A total of 17 leaders participated in the interviews, and their responses had their own unique characteristics, but some common threads emerged. Many of them believed that their fathers or mothers taught them important leadership principles; some used their own mistakes as examples to illustrate what poor leadership looks like; some derived their leadership from their experiences in military or school activities; and others drew their leadership capabilities from the influence of social movements in the 1960s.
