Features: This is an issue of The Journal of Contemporary Christian Thought. The content of this collection includes an understanding of the early Christian Trinity debates, innovative interpretations of the Bible, and modern concerns about Chinese "cultural Christians." It also focuses on prominent Christian scholars such as Niebuhr, William James, and Rosenzweig. The theme of this issue is: The Spiritual Characteristics of Christian Philosophy. The Journal emphasizes Christological studies within Christian theology, restoring the position of Christianity in the history of Chinese and Western thought, while also striving to broaden research horizons and lead thought with academic rigor. The Journal adopts five basic orientations:
1. Biblical Studies: The ever-changing diversity of Christian thought is grounded in biblical texts, so the interpretation of the Bible and biblical theology should receive full attention from scholars.
2. Theological Discourse: It elucidates the plight of Christian theological philosophy, not only by exploring the internal logic of Christian theological philosophy but also by focusing on the history of Christian theistic philosophy and the research of modern theologians.
3. Theology and Religion of Key Western Thinkers: It breaks down disciplinary boundaries and expands research territory within the history of thought, reconstructing the Christian thought of a series of thinkers and philosophers.
4. Thought and Society: The Journal is not only academically rigorous but also attentive to the changes in the modern world. Social and cultural hot issues will also be presented within the context of Christian thought.
5. The Journal will ultimately apply the Christian intellectual tradition to the context of Chinese culture and thought, discussing the encounter, interaction, and harmony between traditional Chinese thought and Christian thought under specific circumstances.
