Features: With the vigorous development of China's architectural decoration industry, decorative materials have been changing rapidly. The decorative materials referred to in this book mainly include those used in indoor decoration projects. The book covers construction cases, which are a summary of the author's many years of teaching, research, and social practice activities. For example, the author once collaborated with the internationally renowned American design company HBA as a construction director to complete the construction project for the lobby decoration of the Shanghai Westin Hotel. Additionally, the author worked with the American architectural design company Team7 to complete two projects in Shanghai, namely the Caterpillar and Mercedes-Benz projects. Furthermore, collaborations were made with Hong Kong Tian'an Design Company and Taiwan Li Lin Design Consulting Company to complete projects such as the Shanghai Tian'an Center Building and the 50th-floor CJW Bar at Shanghai Bund Center. Due to multiple participations in practical activities, the author has acquired a certain mastery of various new materials and advanced technologies, and has comprehensively integrated and organized this knowledge from the perspectives of teaching and learning, thereby enriching some chapters of the book.
