Therefore, it can be said that this book primarily discusses the general theory of criminal policy and, based on this, examines the state of criminal policy in Japan. In summary, our aim is to provide basic knowledge in the field of criminal policy. China and Japan have certain differences in historical background, economic status, and cultural conditions, but there should be many commonalities in combating crime. Therefore, we look forward to further developing exchanges in the field of criminal policy studies between the two countries in the future.
