Features: To commemorate the centenary of Mao Zedong's birth and to meet the needs of readers in learning and studying Mao Zedong's calligraphy art, this "Mao Zedong Calligraphy Great Dictionary" has been specially compiled and published. The main source of the materials for this dictionary is the tens of thousands of Mao Zedong's manuscripts preserved in the Central Archives. After repeated research, more than 5,000 representative pages were selected from them, photocopied, and then more than 100,000 single characters were chosen. After several rounds of careful selection and compilation, this dictionary was completed. The dictionary includes 3,094 characters as the initial characters and a cumulative total of 13,739 characters as the repeated characters, all arranged according to the character classification method of "Ci Hai." To allow readers to appreciate the overall style of Mao Zedong's calligraphy while using this dictionary, 38 complete works of Mao Zedong's calligraphy are included at the end of the book. Additionally, 46 autographed signatures of Mao Zedong from different periods are also included.
