Features: This supplementary textbook includes two parts: Learning Guidance and Experiment Guidance. The Learning Guidance consists of (Learning Requirements), (Preview Before Class), (Key Knowledge Points), and (Post-Class Test). The Learning Requirements mainly outline the learning content for this chapter based on the teaching syllabus; the Preview Before Class lists the knowledge students need to prepare for previewing the chapter; the Key Knowledge Points summarize the main content of the chapter and appropriately supplement information not covered in the textbook; the Post-Class Test exercises mainly cover the knowledge students must master, with four types of questions: multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, term definitions, and short-answer questions, designed for students and teachers to assess learning outcomes. The Experiment Guidance includes both the basic modules and optional modules from the teaching syllabus. Experiments or content without a mark are required basic skills to be completed by all schools and majors, while experiments or content marked with * are optional skills that schools can choose to complete based on regional characteristics and major directions. Each experiment is generally scheduled for 2 hours, but schools can merge or divide them according to actual conditions. Experiments 9–21 are organized in this guide as a whole based on bacterial genera. However, due to the characteristics of bacterial testing experiments, results from culture and biochemical reaction inoculations cannot be observed in class and can be reviewed in the next experiment, after class, or during theory class time. If a professional laboratory is available, it can be combined with theory class hours for simultaneous instruction, observation, and operation to improve learning efficiency. Each experiment includes (Purpose and Requirements), (Materials and Preparation), (Content and Methods), (Observations and Results), and (Summary and Analysis). The Content and Methods section, given that the principles and operational methods of related experiments are already described in the planned textbook, is completed in a fill-in-the-blank format after previewing the textbook under teacher guidance, to enhance students' learning abilities and reinforce their grasp of knowledge and content. The Experiment Guidance is spiral-bound for easy submission to teachers for review after each experiment.
