Features: Endocrine and metabolic diseases are often challenging for clinical practitioners to manage due to their unique characteristics. To facilitate clinical physicians, especially those specializing in endocrine and metabolic diseases, in their work, we were invited by China to compile this book. In this book, we have described the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of diseases in a relatively concise manner, while providing detailed descriptions of precautions and contraindications in disease diagnosis and management. The aim of this book is to highlight the issues and contraindications that should be noted in clinical practice given the current level of medical development. However, medical progress is a gradual process, and our understanding of diseases is continuously deepening. Many examination and treatment methods that may seem inappropriate or contraindicated today may be breakthroughed or improved in the future. Therefore, what is termed "contraindication" is only relative, and we hope that the users of this book can have a correct understanding.
