Features: This book is systematic and comprehensive, with in-depth yet easy-to-understand explanations and a clear structure. It can serve as a undergraduate textbook for the major of Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments in higher education institutions, and is also suitable for teachers, students, and engineering technicians in related fields, as well as those in the field of instruments and measurement and control. This book was compiled based on the suggestions of the Higher Education Institutions Instrumentation Discipline Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education and the requirements of relevant institutions. It is a refined result of three textbooks: Thermal Measurement Instruments, Process Analysis Instruments, and Process Mechanical Quantity Instruments. The book is divided into 9 chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the basic concepts of process detection technology, measurement uncertainty, and various technical performance indicators of instruments. Chapters 2-7, pressure and differential pressure measurement, flow measurement, level measurement, process composition detection, and process mechanical quantity detection, focusing on detection principles and usage characteristics. Chapter 8 covers signal amplification and anti-interference techniques, while Chapter 9 introduces new technologies in the field of detection. An appendix provides a standardized thermocouple allocation table, as well as reference functions and inverse functions for major thermocouples.
