Features: This book dedicates more space to elaborating on the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment of rheumatic diseases, emphasizing the following characteristics: First, each rheumatic disease has diverse clinical manifestations and different serological components, now termed "heterogeneous disease spectra." Second, early diagnosis is the foundation for improving therapeutic efficacy. Rheumatic diseases often present a chronic course, and the time from symptom onset to definitive diagnosis for various rheumatic diseases typically ranges from one year or longer. Third, significant progress has been made in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. In recent years, the application of biologic agents in rheumatology has seen rapid development. This book provides an introduction to this topic. Currently, there is limited information available on new therapies for rheumatic diseases, including stem cell transplantation after high-dose immunosuppressive therapy. This is a novel treatment approach, and to date, there are few large-scale clinical validation reports worldwide. China has been conducting research in this field and has accumulated certain experience, which we have dedicated a chapter to discussing.
