When people see the Dell company logo, they can carefully notice the mysterious combination of D and E. As for the meaning of the D and E combination in the Dell logo, one interpretation is that it refers to the combination of the Dell surname; another interpretation is that the combination implies the meaning of the Dell Empire: DELLEMPIRBE. This book tends to lean toward the latter interpretation.
There are many factors supporting the rise of the Dell Empire: some are about seizing opportunities, some are about steadfastly implementing strategies to strengthen PC business advantages, and some are about capital market support. But the more fundamental factors are only two: one is the influence of Dell's meticulously crafted direct sales model brand, and the other is the new realm Dell brought for itself byly executing a low-price entry strategy, eliminating competitors in the process.
By building the brand and low-price advantages of the Dell model, Dell was successfully amplified and propelled to make significant inroads in the PC industry.
